Uniorange Malaysia Warranty

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

DEFINITIONS

• Product: The electrical appliance covered under this valid service contract.
• You and Your: The owner of the Product and purchaser of this service contract.
• The Company: Venhub Sdn. Bhd. (1426873-V), an authorized sole distributor of Uniorange.

1. COVERAGE

a. The Product is covered by a two (2) year warranty from the date of purchase as stated on the Uniorange Sales Invoice/Receipt. This includes defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance.

b. The Uniorange One-to-One Replacement Warranty (“Replacement Warranty”) allows a one-time replacement of the Product if found to be defective due to malfunction or fault within one (1) year from the date of purchase.

• A brand-new replacement product of like kind, quality, and value will be provided.

• This warranty can only be claimed once; once the Product is replaced, this warranty terminates.

• The Replacement Warranty is only valid if purchased together with a new Product and the applicable warranty fee has been paid.

2. PRODUCT ELIGIBILITY

This Replacement Warranty can only be purchased upon buying a new Product and applies solely to:

• Products purchased new from Uniorange.
• Products manufactured for use in Malaysia.
• Products intended for domestic and personal use.

3. SUBMISSION OF REPLACEMENT CLAIM

To claim a replacement under this Warranty, present the defective Product at any authorized Uniorange retail outlet within the warranty period and within fourteen (14) days of the defect occurring. The Uniorange Sales Invoice/Receipt must be presented for all replacements.

Check the manufacturer’s instructions to determine if the issue can be self-corrected. If the breakdown is not covered by this Warranty or if the Product is found non-defective, it will be returned to you.

4. COVERAGE EXCLUSIONS

This Replacement Warranty does not cover:

• Defects subject to manufacturer’s recall.
• Costs associated with routine maintenance, inspection, cleaning, lubrication, or external adjustments.
• Non-operating and cosmetic items, paint, color, or Product finish; accessories; external cables and cords; glass and lens; add-on options.
• Unauthorized modifications, altered serial numbers, failure to follow installation, operation, or maintenance instructions; non-authorized repairs; items not affecting functionality; image burn.
• Software issues, defects from software installation/removal, computer viruses, and peripherals.
• Repairs to hardware added post-purchase.
• Consumables like vacuum cleaner belts, toner, ink cartridges, bulbs, discs, tapes.
• All batteries (including non-rechargeable ones).
• External faults such as wiring, electrical connection, plumbing, trunking, fitting, signal reception issues, and consequential losses.
• Damage from accidental or intentional physical harm, spilled liquids unless covered, burglary, theft, corrosion, animal/insect infestation, misuse, neglect, or abuse.
• Failures from incorrect voltage application or use of a voltage converter.
• Diagnosis where no defect is found.
• On-site service charges not covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty.
• Shipping charges, express service fees, transportation damage, removal, installation, reinstallation of the Product, loan products during repair.
• Commercial use, public rental, profit use, communal use for multi-family housing.
• Damage from fire, flood, or any act of God (e.g., earthquake, war, invasion, civil war, civil commotion).

THIS REPLACEMENT WARRANTY IS A SERVICE CONTRACT FOR COVERED DEFECTS. IT IS NOT AN INSURANCE POLICY AND DOES NOT GUARANTEE MATERIAL, WORKMANSHIP, OR PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Your maximum entitlement under this Warranty is limited to the fifty (50) percent actual purchase price of the covered Product. If the replacement product’s value exceeds the original purchase price, you must pay the difference. We are not liable for any incidental, contingent, special, or consequential damages. This contract is non-transferable.

6. TERMINATION AND CANCELLATION

This Replacement Warranty terminates immediately without a refund in the following cases:

• Upon expiry of the Contract.
• Disposal or repossession of the Product.
• Unauthorized repair, replacement, or modification of the Product.
• If the Product is moved out of the country of purchase.
• Cancellation is only applicable if the Product is returned or exchanged by Uniorange within seven (7) days from the purchase date, with the original Sales Invoice/Receipt returned to Uniorange.

7. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This document constitutes the entire agreement between Uniorange and the Purchaser of this Replacement Warranty. No other oral or written representation is valid. In case of any inconsistency between the English text and texts in other languages, the English version prevails.

Uniorange reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In the event of any disputes, Uniorange’s decision shall be final.
